≤ SHERMAN — On Jan. 31 at around 2:58 a.m., deputies responded to a vehicle rollover crash on Route 430. Deputies identified the alleged operator of the involved vehicle as Leanne E. Becker, 61, of North East, Pa. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies arrested Becker for DWI, DWI per se, move from lane unsafely and speed not reasonable.

≤ MINA — On Feb. 1 at about 10:35 p.m., deputies observed a vehicle on Hazen and Cemetery roads operating with less than two tail lamps. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the alleged operator as Joshua B. Sundlov, 31, of Findley Lake. Following an investigation, deputies arrested Sundlov for DWI, DWI per se and operating with less than two tail lamps.

≤ FRENCH CREEK — On Feb. 2 at roughly 12:29 a.m., deputies observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn onto Route 426. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the alleged operator as Claire E. Prest, 29, of North East, Pa. Following an investigation, deputies arrested Prest for DWI, DWI per se and fail to signal a turn.

≤ STOCKTON — On Feb. 3 at approximately 3:52 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on James Road for an alleged speeding violation. Upon interviewing the driver, Raymond M. Borland, 33, of Jamestown, it is alleged that Borland used the name of another person during the traffic stop. Borland’s true identity was revealed through a brief investigation. Borland was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation, speed in zone and unlicensed operator. An alleged passenger in the vehicle, Joanna L. Snyder, 46, of Jamestown, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and consumption of alcohol in motor vehicle.

≤ BEMUS POINT — On Feb. 5 at around 4:58 p.m., deputies were called to Vincent Lane for a report of a suspicious male in the area. Upon further investigation, the male in question, Steven D. Crowl Sr., 61, of Jamestown, was located. Deputies determined Crowl was allegedly operating a vehicle while impaired by drugs. Crowl was taken into custody and transported to the Sheriff’s Office, where a drug recognition expert completed a drug evaluation. Crowl was later issued traffic tickets for driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Dunkirk Police Department

¯ On Feb. 1 Larry L. Casey, 28, of Forestville was charged with criminal mischief.

¯ On Feb. 1 Andrew T. Messina, 23, of Dunkirk was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

¯ On Sunday Nathanial C. Strawder, 23, of South Dayton was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no head lights.

¯ On Sunday Joshua J. Jamison, 29, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree harassment, petit larceny, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

¯ On Sunday a 17 year-old male from Dunkirk was charged with second-degree harassment.

¯ On Monday Juan L. Resto Jr., 34, of Dunkirk was charged with criminal mischief.

¯ On Monday Raul Guzman-Moreno, 34, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.

¯ On Wednesday Jessica L. Kiel, 34, of Falconer was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.

¯ On Thursday Edward Perez-Masonet, 32, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree harassment.

Town of Evans Police

≤ On Jan. 28 at roughly 3:47 p.m., Evans Police were contacted by an anonymous caller, who provided information on a subject with alleged multiple warrants currently residing in Derby. The caller further provided social media accounts of the subject and his girlfriend, and through an investigation, the subject’s girlfriend was identified and her residence was established. Upon knocking at the door, the subject, Anthony J. Jackson, 29, of Evans, was located at the residence. Orchard Park Police confirmed the warrants, Jackson was taken into custody, and turned over to the Orchard Park Police.
