≤ SINCLAIRVILLE — On Feb. 26, troopers responded to a residence for a report of a domestic incident. Investigation revealed that Nathan Siracuse, 33, of Sinclairville allegedly removed a guitar from the wall and intentionally broke it, and pushed the victim into a wall causing significant damage. Siracuse was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief.
≤ KENNEDY — On Feb. 26, 2019, troopers pulled over a vehicle on I-86 for speeding. During the traffic stop, the driver, Joseph Washburn, 37, of Gerry, was found to be in possession of Suboxone strips and a Fentanyl patch. Washburn was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container.
≤ JAMESTOWN — On Feb. 25, troopers pulled over a vehicle on Route 60 for a traffic violation. While speaking to the operator, Alberto Alvira, 22, of Fredonia, troopers allegedly smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Alvira and his vehicle revealed a marijuana cigarette and two loose Tramadol pills, for which Alvira did not have a prescription. Alvira was placed under arrest and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container. Alvira was later released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date.

DUNKIRK — On Feb. 25 at 8:50 p.m., deputies arrested Kevin M. O’Brien, 59, of Dunkirk for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, unlicensed operator, speed not reasonable and prudent and moved from lane unsafely. It is alleged on Feb. 12 that O’Brien fled the scene of an accident on foot, wherein he was the operator of the vehicle that was involved in the single motor vehicle accident on Route 5 that caused damage to private property.
