Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

¯ SHERIDAN — On March 13 at about 9:25 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies, while responding to an incident in Forestville, located an allegedly involved vehicle on Route 39 and reportedly observed it to be speeding above the posted limit. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Jaralyn E. Majak, 30, of Forestville. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies charged Majak with DWI, DWI per se, speeding and unlicensed operator. Majak was released and is due to appear in Sheridan Town Court on a later date.

¯ SHERIDAN — On March 15 at about 11:35 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies allegedly observed a vehicle to be speeding on Route 20 in the town of Sheridan. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Jose G. Carabello, 28, of Forestville. Following an investigation into the incident, deputies charged Carabello with DWI, DWI per se and speed in zone. Carabello was released and is due to appear in Sheridan Town Court at a later date.

¯ RIPLEY — On Wednesday at about 8:17 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Westfield Police Department responded to a physical altercation that occurred at a residence in the town of Ripley. An investigation of the incident revealed that Isiah T. Fuentes, 19, of Ripley allegedly struck another person and damaged property that did not belong to him.

Fuentes was arrested for second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief. He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment by the Centralized Arraignment Part.

Dunkirk Police

¯ On March 13 Dalton S. McCurdy, 31, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.

¯ On March 14 Michael Mirek Sr., 59, of Dunkirk was charged with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.

¯ On March 15 Luis A. Irizarry Sr., 34, of Jamestown was charged with attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance and attempted petit larceny.

¯ On March 16 Davonte T. Grayson, of Dunkirk was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

¯ On March 16 Fernando Rios-Rodriguez, 22, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and suspended registration.

¯ On March 16 Mayra Colon, 40, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree harassment.

¯ On March 16 Luis F. Cardona, 27, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.

¯ On Sunday, March 17, Lamont Smith, of Dunkirk was charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

¯ On Sunday, March 17, Frankie Ramos, 26, of Dunkirk was charged with first-degree criminal contempt.

¯ On Monday, March 18, Seana L. Williams, 35, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

¯ On Tuesday, March 19 Alexis Marrero-Kuilan, 36, of Westfield was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.

¯ On Wednesday, March 20, John L. Fickelscherer, 26, of Fredonia was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle.

¯ On Thursday, March 21, Nathaniel E. Crabtree, 37, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

NY State Police

¯ JAMESTOWN — On Wednesday, state troopers arrested Johnie Venable, 26 of Jamestown for second-degree harassment.

The troopers received a complaint that Venable had been harassing and following the victim for several months prior, despite repeated requests to cease his behavior. Venable is scheduled to appear in the town of Stockton court next month to answer the charge.
