Elisa Galuppo joins TRC as compliance officer
The Resource Center is pleased to introduce Elisa Galuppo as its quality improvement compliance officer.
“The role of the compliance officer is to ensure we as an agency continue to provide the highest quality of services in a caring, compassionate and professional manner. Elisa brings knowledge, energy and a positive attitude to the position,” said Virginia Vath, assistant executive director for quality assurance, quality improvement, and compliance.
“Elisa has joined the agency at a very critical time. As health care, in general, continues to make gigantic strides, there becomes an even greater level of concern for ensuring the agency is in compliance with all of the new and ever-changing regulations.”
Galuppo earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her master’s in business administration from Penn State. She also holds a master’s certificate in government contracting from Villanova.
The Resource Center’s status as a large employer and a human-service agency influenced Galuppo’s decision to work at TRC.
“I decided to join The Resource Center because it provides both a career and a way I can contribute to making a difference in people’s lives throughout our community,” she said.
She’s looking forward to meeting staff from throughout the agency as she familiarizes herself with TRC.
“I hope to continuously build relationships with the TRC staff and the individuals and families whom we provide supports to,” Galuppo said. “I hope to bring positive energy to TRC and work closely with our team of staff to ensure that the agency complies with rules and regulations and provides a high quality of service to our community. I look forward to working with such a compassionate and knowledgeable team at TRC.”
A native of North East, PA, Galuppo lives in Frewsburg with her husband, Matthew, and their two children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, swimming, barbecuing, and being in the great outdoors.
