Edgewood Communities to host March Medicare Madness
JAMESTOWN — Lutheran’s award-winning Best of Times Seminars, sponsored by Edgewood Communities, will feature a three-part information series next month called March Medicare Madness. Each part will focus on different aspects of the Medicare program and they will be presented by Janell Sluga, Geriatric Care Manager and Director of Senior Life Matters at Lutheran. The programs are free and open to the public.
¯ Wednesday, March 8, will cover different enrollment conditions and decisions facing subscribers with Medicare A, B, and D.
¯ Tuesday, March 14, will cover Medicare Supplements and their relationship to original Medicare.
¯ Wednesday, March 22, will cover Medicare Advantage Plans.
“A couple years ago, we had to cover so much information in one night that many people felt overwhelmed,” said Janell Sluga. “So last year we broke the discussion into three different segments and had a lot of success. We’re continuing that tradition this year and encourage the community to come to the event with questions,” said Sluga. Although some attendees are only interested in specific information, Sluga encourages those interested to attend all three sessions.
To register for one or all of the March Medicare Madness programming, please call 720-9122 or visit www.lutheran-jamestown.org to register online. All three sessions will be held at the Christ Chapel inside the Lutheran campus at 715 Falconer Street. Each session begins at 6:30 pm. Light refreshments are provided.
