Lake Shore Savings awards grants to local non-profits

Lake Shore Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for Lake Shore Savings Bank awarded grants to a number of local non-profit organizations, as designated by each of the 27 Women of Influence winners from Business First’s annual Women of Influence event, held this past September, of which Lake Shore Savings Bank was a major sponsor.

The annual Women Of Influence event honors local influential women who have personally contributed to the success of our Western New York community in a number of ways. This year, 27 women from a variety of professional backgrounds were recognized for their individual accomplishments. To further recognize their efforts, Lake Shore Savings Bank awarded each honoree a $1,000 grant for which they could designate to a non-profit of their choice.

“Lake Shore Savings Bank is committed to serving our community, and recognizes the unwavering dedication of the numerous non-profit organizations providing much needed services throughout Western New York,” said Daniel Reininga, Chief Executive Officer. “It is organizations such as these that provide so much, yet often times struggle with their own funding to continue their missions of goodwill. It is our hope that these grants will assist in ensuring vital programs and services continue to be delivered to those in need.”
