WESTFIELD — Westfield Memorial’s Hospital Foundation’s goal thermometer strategically placed in front of the hospital, continues to rise despite plunging temperatures due to Old Man Winter’s tightening grip. The foundation board members are pleased to announce it has reached 88 percent of its $650,000 goal, thanks to the wisdom of its generous and valued donors who understand the importance of this project. All extend their thanks to each and everyone who have contributed to the campaign.

“With continued support, our foundation board of directors is confident that you will lead us to 100 percent of our goal ensuring a successful RED (Renovate our Emergency Department) Campaign for our community hospital,” said WMH Foundation Executive Director Patricia DiPalma. The ED Upgrade project commenced on Oct. 2, 2017 and is slated to reach completion in the spring of 2018 benefitting everyone in the community.
