Join the Circus of Creativity known at a Maker Meetup and nformative social gathering in the atrium of the Science Center on the campus of The State University of New York at Fredonia on Tuesday, May 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This Maker Meetup is sponsored by Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES and Fredonia State in cooperation with MAKE magazine ahead of the much-anticipated 3rd annual Fredonia Mini Maker Faire set Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 on campus. Registration is now open for those interested in applying to be a featured Maker at this free daylong celebration, the only one of its kind in the Chautauqua region.

The meetups are designed to unite a community of inspiring indivduals in the Chautauqua region. Makers are tech enthusiasts, designers, do-it-yourselfers, artists, crafters, homesteaders, tinkerers, educators, students, farmers, hobbyists, engineers, authors, scientists and beyond. If you think you are a Maker, you probably are and we want to meet you!

Please consider bringing along some examples of your work and share the process behind your passions and pursuits. Makers will discuss their work, learn about the Maker Movement and help plan for the Oct. 20 main event. Everyone is welcome to join the Maker Movement and there is no cost or obligation.
