Cassadaga Valley School Board of Education to meet
The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Education of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will be held on Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Middle High School Multi-Purpose Room.
Santa visits Forestville Saturday
The Forestville Youth Recreation Committee along with the Forestville Fire Department is hosting a night with Santa Claus. Santa Claus will ride to the fire hall on Chestnut Street in a horse-drawn wagon on Dec. 10.
He will arrive at 6 p.m. and be available until 8 p.m. to visit with children. There will be hot cocoa, cookies, a treat from Santa and ornaments to paint. Doug and Linda Fairbanks will give rides in their horse-drawn wagon during the evening.
Rep. Tom Reed in Dunkirk Friday
Tom Reed’s staff will hold remote office hours in Dunkirk on Friday, Dec. 9. Staff will be located in Dunkirk City Hall, 342 Central Avenue, from 2 to 4 p.m. to help answer questions and gather feedback.
Whether it’s a Social Security, Medicare, Veterans or any other question or concern with a federal government agency, Tom Reed’s staff will be available to help.

Citizens for a Better Cassadaga to meet Thursday
The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Library. The winter festival will be the main topic. New members are always welcome.
