Fredonia Fire Department releases January runs

The Fredonia Fire Department has released its run report for the month of January.

Crews responded to a total of 152 calls. That number breaks down into 118 rescue and emergency medical service calls, 13 false alarms, nine good intent calls, six service calls, five hazardous conditions without any fire and one fire.

A total of 101 calls originated in the village of Fredonia, while 29 came from the town of Pomfret outside village limits. Ten were from the State University of New York at Fredonia campus, two were from the state Thruway and 10 were for mutual aid.

Chautauqua County Planning Board to meet Tuesday

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the CCIDA Board Room on the second floor of the BWB Building, 201 West Third Street, Jamestown. All meetings of the County Planning Board are open to the public.

Land Bank to meet Wednesday

The Chautauqua County Land Bank Corp. will hold its next monthly board meeting on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. in the Main Conference Room of the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. The monthly Acquisition & Disposition Meeting of the CCLBC will be held prior at 8 a.m. at the same location. The board meeting of the CCLBC is being conducted to discuss business associated with the acquisition and potential sale of property by CCLBC and other official business as required (agendas will be provided at the meetings). The press, public and other stakeholders are welcome to attend. This meeting will also serve as its Annual Meeting.
