Dunkirk garden walk set for Sunday

Get ready to see some growing at the Dunkirk Garden Delights 2017 Garden Walk on Sunday.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free to the community. Information and maps will be available on the day of the walk at the Dunkirk High School Bicentennial Park on Sixth Street.

The walk is sponsored by the Academy Heights Neighborhood Association.

Rotary fly-in

breakfast planned for Sunday

The Dunkirk-Fredonia Rotary 53rd Fly-in Breakfast will be held Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon at the John J. Nalbone St. Field — Dunkirk Airport, 3389 Middle Road.

The all-you-can-eat menu includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, milk, coffee and juice. The cost for adults is $7 and for children under 12, $4. Enjoy fast service. Other attractions include a craft show and sale, the famous basket raffle, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Airplane rides will be available.

The event is hosted by Dunkirk Aviation Sales & Services Inc. Other sponsors include Lake Shore Savings and Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The public is welcome. Parking is free. Designated handicapped parking is available.

All proceeds benefit local charities. Tickets are available at the door or through a Rotarian.
