Turkey Bingo Thursday

The Son’s of the American Legion, Squad 59, will be holding a Turkey Bingo fundraiser today from 7-9 p.m. at Post 59, 156 E Main St., Fredonia.

Ten rounds of turkey bingo plus a 20-pound turkey with all the fixings raffle. A 50/50 will also be conducted for the DAV. All other proceeds from the evening assist with Post 59 veteran functions and Boy’s and Girl’s State sponsorships. Members and guests welcome.

Dunkirk Farmers Market Fundraiser Friday

The Dunkirk Farmers’ Market will hold a Farm to Table Fundraiser Dinner on Friday, Nov. 17 at the Dunkirk Senior Center. At 6:30 p.m., local wines and cider and hors d’oeuvres will be served, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Dinner will include a turkey and ham carving station, sides, salad, soups and dessert. There will be music and a basket auction and raffle. Pre-sale tickets are $35 per guest and can be purchased at the Dunkirk Planning and Development Office, clerk’s office or the senior center.

Revitalize Dunkirk

meeting set for today

The November meeting of Revitalize Dunkirk will be held today at the SUNY Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave, Dunkirk. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Membership applications and T-shirts will be available. All members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Holiday Victorian Tea at

the McClurg is Nov. 18

The Chautauqua County Historical Society will be hosting a Holiday High Tea at the historic McClurg Mansion in Moore Park, Westfield on Saturday, Nov. 18 as part of the Annual Christmas in the Village.

Patrons may feel as though they have stepped back in time as they enjoy delightful and delectable sandwiches, savories, sweets and beverages while basking in the rich and beautiful ambience of the mansion. Tea will be served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Cost is $15. No reservations needed.
