Reed staff to hold remote office hours in Dunkirk Feb. 22

U.S. Rep. Tom Reed’s staff will hold remote office hours in Dunkirk on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 2-3 p.m. The meeting will be in the Mayor’s Conference Room at the Dunkirk City Hall, 342 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Staff will be available to answer questions, gather feedback and provide assistance with Medicare, Social Security, veterans’ benefits and other issues related to federal agencies

Silver Creek Village Board reschedules monthly meeting

The Silver Creek Village Board has changed the date of its meeting scheduled Monday, Feb. 19 due to the Presidents Day holiday. The Village Board meeting has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Feb. 21. It will take place in the Village Board Room at 7 p.m.

Fredonia Chamber mixer set for Thursday

The Fredonia Community Chamber will be hosting a networking mixer on Thursday, Feb. 22, at EBC West in Fredonia, from 5-6:30 p.m.

Cost is $11 for members and $13 for non-members. Complimentary appetizers will be available.

DFT to trim trees in Cassadaga

DFT Communications will begin trimming trees this Monday, Feb. 19, on the Utility & Highway Right of Way. Tree trimming will begin on Cassadaga-Stockton Road, Fredonia-Stockton Road moving up High Street, then onto Bard Road. This trimming is in conjunction with the New York State Broadband Grant Program and will continue for a three-month period.
