Cassadaga board of education to hold budget workshop

A budget workshop and special meeting of the Cassadaga board of education will be held on Monday, March 26 at 7 p.m. in the Middle High School Multi-Purpose Room.

Town Clerk hours change is for one day

On Wednesday, March 28 only, the town of Westfield Town Clerk’s office hours will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

County Parks Commission to meet

The Chautauqua County Parks Commission will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, March 22, at 4 p.m. at the Robert H. Jackson Airport in Jamestown. The public is invited to attend.

Forestville elementary registration

The Forestville Elementary School is currently making plans for next year’s Kindergarten and Pre-kindergarten registrations. Children who will be 5-years-old by December 1, 2018 are eligible for Kindergarten.

Children who will be 4-years-old by Dec. 1, 2018 are eligible for Pre-kindergarten. At this time, any parent who has not yet contacted our district, and has a child who falls into either of these categories, should call the elementary office at 965-2742.

Kindergarten registration packets will be sent out the week of March 26. Kindergarten Roundup is scheduled for April 19 at 12:30 p.m. Pre-K information will be forthcoming.

Forestville Legion Auxiliary meat party set

The Forestville Legion Auxiliary will hold a Meat Party on March 24 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion, 6 Cedar St., Forestville. There will be all kinds of free refreshments, a lottery wreath and 50/50. Winners will receive ham, sausage, steak, prime rib or South Dayton Super Duper doughnuts. Everyone is welcome.

CCIDA sets meeting

A special board meeting of the County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency (CCIDA) Board of Directors will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at 201 W Third St., Board Room (second floor), Jamestown.
