Bud ‘n Bloom Garden Club spring sale set for Saturday

Bud ‘n Bloom Garden Club is holding a Spring Sale to benefit Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Farmers’ Market, Masonic Forest Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia.

Hand-crafted, unique cement containers filled with a wide variety of succulents; glass hanging terrariums; teacups with plants, decorative sands and shells, window boxes of coleus and bright spring flowers and more are for sale. All are priced under $20.

B.P.O. Elks Lodge 994 to hold spaghetti dinner May 12

The B.P.O. Elks Lodge 994 in Dunkirk invites the community to its spaghetti dinner. The dinner is being held on Saturday, May 12 at the Lodge, 428 Central Ave. from 4 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The low price of $7.50 per person will provide each person with homemade spaghetti and meatballs, tossed salad, roll with butter, dessert and beverage. Dinners are available for eat in or take out. tickets for the dinner are not required, as all payment will be taken at the door. Citizens for a Better Cassadaga to meet tonight

The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Library, 18 Maple St. Planting in Ames Common and “Light Up Cassadaga” holiday project will be discussed. New members are welcome!

Brocton Central School will conduct a regular Board of Education meeting at 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 following the voting process.

Citizens Assisting Veterans sponsor Bike and Cruise Nights

The Citizens Assisting Veterans will sponsor a series of bike and car cruise nights the second Thursday of the month from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Brocton American Legion Post 434, Route 20, Brocton. The kitchen will be open to purchase food. There will also be 50/50 raffles. Dates are tonight, June 14, July 12, Aug. 9 and Sept. 13.

Fredonia Central School Advanced Music Performance Recital set for tonight

Fredonia Central School will resent an Advanced Music Performance Recital tonight at 7 p.m. at the 1891 Fredonia Opera House. The event is free of charge.
