‘City Speaks’ to air special show Thursday

“City Speaks” will be completing the tour of the city in a ride-a-long with Mayor Wilfred Rosas and DPW Director Randy Woodbury giving the residents a visual update on the many happenings that are taking place in the city this Thursday.

“City Speaks” can be viewed daily on Spectrum 1301 at 3 p.m. and again at 10 p.m.

North Collins Police to hold drug take back day

The North Collins Police Department, along with the Erie County Department of Health and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration, will give the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs and needles this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The community is asked to bring medications and syringes for disposal to the North Collins Police Department, 10543 Main St., North Collins.

Paint something pretty while helping support Thrifty Kitty

This Thursday, “Create an Art Scene with Tamara” presents an evening of painting and wine. “Snowman with scarf,” offers two stemless wine glasses to paint and keep. $30 includes all materials. Wine will be available for purchase and light snacks provided. A portion of proceeds to benefit Westfield Stray Cat Rescue. The event will take place at Noble Winery, 8630 Hardscrabble Road, Westfield. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Class begins at 7 p.m. Patrons can pay in advance by calling 785-7471 and receive a $5 voucher for the Thrifty Kitty. Walk-ins are also welcome.
