Gowanda Ambulance Service chicken ‘n biscuit dinner Feb. 20

A chicken n’ biscuit dinner will be sponsored by the Gowanda Ambulance Service on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gowanda American Legion Post #409, 100 Legion Drive, Gowanda. The meal is $8 for adults, $5 for 12 and under, and free for ages 5 and under.

Ripley Board of Education to meet

A regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Ripley Central School District will be held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the IRLA Library (Room 204) of the Ripley Central School, for the purpose of any and all items that come before the board.

Forestville fire district board meeting Thursday

The Forestville Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners will conduct its regular monthly meeting Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m., at the Forestville Fire Station, located at 18 Chestnut Street.

North Chautauqua County Water District Board meets Thursday

The Administrative Board of the North Chautauqua County Water District shall hold a meeting on Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Fireside Manor Restaurant, 5377 W. Lake Road, Dunkirk.

Dunkirk elementary schools set registrations

The Dunkirk City School District will conduct kindergarten registrations for the 2019-20 school year at Boorady Center. Children who are five years of age by Dec. 1, 2019, can register for kindergarten. Parents are strongly encouraged to register their children as soon as possible to ensure a positive start to the new school year. Parents/guardians are reminded that all registrations are by appointment, including students entering grades 1-5. Registration appointments should be made now by calling Jessica Vazquez at 366-9300, ext. 2710.
