Fredonia Central School District All String Concert Feb. 28

The Fredonia Central School District All Band Concert will take place Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in the District auditorium, 425 E. Main St., Fredonia. This is a free event and is open to the public.

Adult interest courses offered at Pine Valley

The following adult interest courses are being offered at Pine Valley Central School this Spring:

¯ AARP Driver Safety Program (Mature Driving) March 5-6

¯ Pound (Fitness Class) Feb. 25, 28, March 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28, April 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18

¯Wellness Program (Through Weight Watchers) Meetings will take place on Thursdays for 12-17 weeks; a more specific schedule will be determined soon.

Old-fashioned Barn Dance set for March 1

An Old-fashioned Barn Dance will take place Friday, March 1 from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Fredonia Grange No. 1, 58 W. Main St., Fredonia. Costs are: adults: $7, students: $5, ages 12 and under free. Dances include squares, contras, mixers and more. The event is beginner friendly, family friendly. No experience is needed. NERF War at the Cassadaga Library planned for March 2

Cassadaga Branch Library hosts a monthly NERF War on the first Saturday of each month at 18 Maple Ave., Cassadaga. The war begins at 2 p.m., after normal library hours. Bring your guns, ammo, and eye protection. Snacks and refreshments will be served. Children under age 8 must be with a responsible adult.
