Gowanda Fire Dept. pancake breakfast

The Gowanda Fire Department, 230 Aldrich St., Gowanda, is hosting all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts during Maple Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, March 30 and 31. Doors open at 8 a.m. and close at 12:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children and children under three eat free.

Hanover to hold special meeting

Supervisor Todd Johnson has called for a special meeting to take place Tuesday, at 9 a.m. at the Hanover Town Hall for the purpose of any matters that may come before the board.

Nar-Anon Family Support Meetings

Family members and close friends of those struggling with addiction are invited to attend weekly Nar-Anon Family Support Group meetings at the Fredonia Grange Hall (58 W. Main St.) each Sunday from 2 to 3 p.m. The Nar-Anon Family Group is primarily for those who know or have known a feeling of desperation concerning the addiction problem of someone very near to them. Those who come into the family group are no longer alone, but among true friends who understand their problem as few others could. See https://www.nar-anon.org.
