Police probing Jamestown meth lab

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police are investigating a meth lab at 212 W. Sixth St. in the city.

First responders were originally summoned for a report of smoke coming from the residence due to a “possible lab,” according to radio reports. Fire crews inspected the property and confirmed there was no fire.

Residents of an upper apartment at the West Sixth Street location were evacuated.

A tenant who lives in a downtown apartment told the Post-Journal there was a meth lab inside.
