Chicken barbecue benefitting Dan Bonasera set for Sunday
Dan Bonasera, a lifelong resident of the Dunkirk/Fredonia area who served as a Marine, paramedic and current DDSO employee, has suffered a major cardiac crisis with continuous medical costs. The public is encouraged to join in giving back to him as he has for many years.
A chicken barbecue benefit will be held Sunday from noon until sold out at The Firemans Club, 21 Jackson St., Silver Creek. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for children and include a chicken dinner (while available), door prize, music by Gregory Ford and pop. There will also be a ticket auction, 50/50, bake sale and a can drive.
Supporters are asked to bring clean pop cans and bottles for donations.
