Little Free Library built in Fredonia

Submitted Photo: If you have walked or driven by the corner of Ryan Street and Nance Terrace in Fredonia, you probably noticed a little red barn on a stand and wondered what it was. Actually, it is a Little Free Library. Anyone is welcome to stop by and choose a book (there are books for children and adults) or two to take home and read. When finished, you may bring your selections back, pass them on to someone else, or replace them with some you may have in your own home. There is no fee of any kind to take a book. Under the sign, Little Free Library posted on the door it says, “Take a Book — Return a Book.” There are several libraries like this in other areas of Fredonia and Chautauqua County and books are interchangeable between them, or any other Little Library found in the U.S. There is a daily turnover of books, so if you see something you’d like to read, take it. Some books may have a note about who gave it or has read it. You may leave your own note in it when you’re done.
