Seuss-themed flapjack fundraiser set in Silver Creek
SILVER CREEK — A Dr. Seuss Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Cheer Team of the Silver Creek Central School District is slated Sunday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the high school cafeteria and the public is welcome.
In addition to breakfast, there will be a visit from a Suess character, fun Seuss-related activities for the kids and even Seuss story time. The menu includes: Truffala Tree Pancakes, Green Eggs and Sausage, Fantastical Fruit, and Whoville Juice. The food will be prepared by the cheerleaders and cheer moms.
Tickets cost $7 at the door or $6 pre-sale. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Cheer Team. Ticket purchase forms will be sent home with SCCS students in May, but the public can buy pre-sale tickets by contacting Tami Faraci at Tfaraci@silvercreekschools.org or by asking a cheerleader. Anyone wanting to volunteer or donate to the breakfast should also contact Faraci.
