Trailer off road after driver falls asleep

FREWSBURG — Charges are pending in an accident where a trailer went off-road and overturned in an embankment in Frewsburg.

Daniel F. Shanley Jr., 21, of Lackawanna was southbound on Falconer Frewsburg Road near the Carlberg Road intersection when he reported that he started to feel drowsy, and possibly fell asleep. The trailer ended up leaving the roadway and landed on its side. Shanley and his passenger were treated at the scene and released.
