Hands at work for Habitat for Humanity

Submitted Photo
Throughout the County of Chautauqua’s Habitat for Humanity, hands are at work. One example has been going for the past few months in the village of Westfield. When it began, both men and women faced a dilapidated house on Beckman Avenue. Volunteers knew then that it would take some time to bring it back to livable condition, but that hasn’t stopped them. Habitat for Humanity works every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Anyone who would like to join in, all you need to do is show up; no special skills are required and refreshments are available during break time. Volunteer workers “on the job” are pictured.
