Access Channel 5 Programming for Oct. 7-13

Several candidate interviews will televise on Access Channel 5. On Saturday, Oct. 7 the following interviews will air live: Jeri-Ann Simora (D) running for Chautauqua County Legislative District 8 at noon; Michael Ferguson (D) running for County Executive at 1 p.m.; John Hemmer (R, incumbent) running for Chautauqua County Legislative District 19 at 2 p.m.; and David Himelein (R, incumbent) running for Chautauqua County Legislative District 18 at 3 p.m. Other programming normally shown during these times will be pre-empted on Saturday only. For Saturday evening and the balance of the week, these interviews will replay as follows: Jerri-Ann Simora at noon and 6 p.m.; Michael Ferguson at 12:30 and 6:30 p.m.; John Hemmer at 1 and 7 p.m.; and David Himelein at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature Edward Brooks, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at Westfield Memorial Hospital.. The program airs live countywide on various access channels at 9 a.m. on Saturday only, then repeats at 2 and 8 p.m. on Access Channel 5.

All programming starts on Saturday, Oct. 7 and runs through Friday, Oct. 13. Repeat programming is often shown at other time slots.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
