Access Channel 5 releases programming for Oct. 14-20

Several candidate interviews will televise on Access Channel 5. On Saturday, Oct. 14 the following interviews will air live: Laurel Adams (D) running for Chautauqua County Legislative District 19 at noon; LeeAnn Lazarony (D) running for county clerk at 1 p.m.; George Borrello (R) running for county executive at 3 p.m.; and Ella Ames (D) running for Chautauqua County Legislative District 18 at 4 p.m. Other programming normally shown during these times will be pre-empted on Saturday only. For Saturday evening and the balance of the week, these interviews will replay as follows: Adams at noon and 6 p.m.; Lazarony at 12:30 and 6:30 p.m.; Borrello at 1 and 7 p.m.; and Ames at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m.

Chautauqua Sunrise, hosted by Doc Hamels, will feature John Wolfe, Chautauqua County Historical Society. The program airs live county-wide on various access channels at 9 a.m. on Saturday only, then repeats at 2 and 8 p.m. on Access Channel 5.

Fresh Perspectives with Gail Erb will have Norm Green, Chautauqua County Board of Elections Commissioner as her guest. The program airs at 3 and 9 p.m.

All programming starts on Saturday, Oct. 14 and runs through Friday, Oct. 20. Repeat programming is often shown at other time slots.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas, and can be found on channel 5 with a cable converter or on 5.3 on digital televisions without a cable converter.
