Canadaway 4-H Club seeks new members

Cornell Cooperative Extension Chautauqua County’s 4-H Youth Development Program began the new 4-H year on Oct. 1.

The Canadaway 4-H Club will hold registration for new members today, Oct. 5, at the Fredonia First United Methodist Church, located at 25 Church St., Fredonia. Registration will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. in room 25.

Projects that the club participates in include: foods, sewing, woodworking, electrical, horticulture, creative crafts, community service, leadership and many more. Participants do not have to be from an agricultural background to participate in this youth organization. All children from age 5 to 18 are invited to join. For more information, contact Club Leader Heather Lesch at 679-4702. Yearly enrollment is $50, however scholarship assistance is available. Bring health insurance information and form of payment (cash or check) to the registration.
