Muldowney seeks re-election as county legislator for District 1

Chautauqua County Legislator Kevin Muldowney announces his candidacy for re-election in the 1st District, which includes part of the City of Dunkirk and the West town of Dunkirk. The Republican, Conservative and Independence parties endorse Muldowney.

A lifelong resident of Dunkirk, Muldowney is a local business owner in the city and town of Dunkirk. He served on the Dunkirk City council for 10 years prior to becoming a Legislator, where he currently serves on the Administrative Services and Audit and Control Committees. He was past chairman of the CODI Board for COI and is a member Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau.

He is married to Marybeth Muldowney, an administrator in the Dunkirk School System and has two sons, Patrick who attends St. Francis High School and Daniel who attends the P-Tech STEM Academy.

“I’ve learned a lot during my first term and know we are headed in the right direction. I’m looking forward to the number of economic opportunities coming to Northern Chautauqua County and would appreciate your vote,” Legislator Muldowney concluded.
