Winter storm warning issued through Saturday afternoon; cancellations noted
A winter storm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Chautauqua County. It is in effect through 1 p.m. Saturday.
Accompanying the potential 5 to 8 inches of snow tonight will be much cooler temperatures. This morning, it was 55 degrees in Dunkirk-Fredonia and the low tonight will get down to 13 — a 42-degree drop in less than 24 hours.
