Cassadaga Village Board holds reorganizational meeting

Submitted Courtesy of Susan Washington Sipos: CASSADAGA – The Village of Cassadaga Board held its reorganizational meeting in the village board office recently. Upon the retirement of public works superintendent Tom Fetter after 25 years of service, Sam Alaimo was appointed to serve as the new superintendent. Many other appointments and decisions were made also during the meeting. Chautauqua County legislator for District 7 Mark Odell was present for the opening meeting. Two people were given the oath of office by Village Clerk Roxanne Astry during the meeting. Shown in the photograph is Mayor Mary Jo Bauer, with new Public Superintendent Sam Alaimo, village of Cassadaga Historian John Sipos, now into his 14th year and Astry.
