Barker Library presents: ‘Preparing for Our Parting,’ an end of life issues discussion

Barker Library will present a workshop entitled: “Preparing for Our Parting,” a discussion of end of life issues, on Saturday, May 19 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The facilitator is Terry Klime, retired parish minister and former Hospice chaplain. Attendees will learn how to prepare for the kind of medical care THEY want at the end of life if they are no longer able to communicate their wishes.

Learn about healthcare directives/proxies, options, consider questions and discuss options to determine choices that are best for each individual. Receive an informational booklet containing necessary documents to prepare at home. Prepare to choose end of life care that reflects personal values about life and what makes it meaningful.

The library is located at 7 Day St., Fredonia.
