Three charged in drug activity in Silver Creek

SILVER CREEK — Two Dunkirk residents and a village resident are facing charges after Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to 8 Henry St. for a report of possible drug activity.

Following an investigation, it is alleged that Jorge Ortiz-Reyes, Dominique P. Estarfaa and Mariarsenia Vega were found to be in possession of an unspecified quantity of crack-cocaine, scales and other dug paraphernalia, as well as an unspecified quantity of marijuana. Ortiz-Reyes, 21, of 152 E. Second St., Dunkirk, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using second-degree drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Ortiz-Reyes was arraigned in the Town of Hanover Court and Remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on $10,000 or $20,000 bail. Estarfaa, 27, and Vega, 24, of 139 King St., Dunkirk, were each charged with seventh-degree criminal possession, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Estarfaa and Vega were released with appearance tickets directing them to return to Village Court at a later date.
