Weapon, drug charges for Stockton men after speeding

Robert Keech
Jordan Chamberlin

SINCLAIRVILLE — Two Stockton residents are facing drug and weapons charges after their vehicle was pulled over for speeding on Thursday on Route 60.

State Police in Jamestown report this morning that Robert Keech, 23, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. Both Keech and Jordan Chamberlin, 23, were charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Troopers, after pulling over the vehicle, determined both occupants had been smoking marijuana inside the vehicle. A New York State Police K-9 alerted on the center console of the vehicle where a grinder containing marijuana was located.

A search of the vehicle and occupants revealed that Keech was in possession of a subutex pill and metal knuckles, and Chamberlin was in possession of tramadol pills and a hydrocodone pill.

Keech and Chamberlin were placed under arrest, processed at State Police in Jamestown, and released with appearance tickets directing them to appear in the town of Charlotte Court on a later date.
