Labor lauds retiree
Chautauqua County Executive George Borrello, second from left, reads a proclamation in honor of Marylou Dunning, second from right, during a recent labor picnic at Point Gratiot in Dunkirk. Dunning, of Fredonia, was honored during the luncheon by the Dunkirk Area Labor Council for her years of service. Dunning joined CSEA in September 1980 when she began her employment with Chautauqua County in the Department of Social Services as a typist and mirofilm technician. She retired in January 2004 as a community services worker. She is now a member of the Retiree Local 903 Unit 3 and currently serves as secretary. She also serves as a member of the Planning Committee for Unit 6300 of Local 807. Dunning also is an election inspector for the county.
