On Wednesday night at around 11:45 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Stone Road in the town of Pomfret for a report of an unresponsive female.

Upon arrival, deputies located the unresponsive female and administered Intranasal Naloxone. At that time the female victim became responsive. EMS responded to the scene and the female refused medical treatment.

Naloxone is a medication used to block the effects of opioids, especially in overdose.
