New York State Police Investigators Association endorses Quattrone for sheriff
Jim Quattrone said he is happy to announce that the New York State Police Investigators Association has endorsed his candidacy for Sheriff of Chautauqua County.
The Investigators Association represents more 2,000 active and retired Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) members of the State Police. “I believe that NYSPIA along with myself recognizes the need to collaborate and cooperate with all law enforcement agencies if we wish to maintain safety and security in our communities and to make a difference with the current drug epidemic. I am looking forward to working with all Law Enforcement agencies in the county as well as other agencies to ensure effective and efficient operations in the Sheriff’s Office. We need to be wise in the deployment of our current resources and maximize the collaboration with other agencies,” Quattrone said.
In their letter of endorsement, Christopher Quick (President) and Michael Connors (Troop “A” Delegate) stated, “Your record of more than 30 years of service, experience and continuing education in law enforcement illustrates your dedication to justice, peace and the security of the residents of Chautauqua County. The many years of dedicated service that you have provided to the citizens of Chautauqua County have forged a reputation with law enforcement personnel and community members that is second to none. In addition to your professional responsibilities, your past experiences in uniform and as a Commanding Officer, show your commitment and dedication to the wellbeing of your coworkers and their families. As Sheriff, I believe you will continue to command a force of officers with respect and professionalism -leading the way by the example you have set throughout your career.”

Quattrone is also the endorsed Republican candidate and has also been endorsed by the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers, and The Southern Tier TEA Part Patriots.
