Successful service project

As a service project, Mattea held a bake sale to earn money for the camp. Standing in back of her, left to right, are Amber and Brian Hilliker, Mattea’s parents; Tim Cobb, camp ranger; Webster; and Pat Hayward, Chautauqua County American Legion Auxiliary President who also advises the Junior Auxiliary Program for the Cassadaga American Legion Auxiliary. Hayward used the occasion to present patches to Mattea who has now completed all those offered in the program. The Junior Auxiliary is available to girls up to age 17 who has a qualifying family member who is a veteran. For more information about the program, contact Pat Hayward at 595-2571.
