Northern Chautauqua County Club holds meeting

The Northern Chautauqua County Club Associates recently held its regular monthly meeting at the Kosciuszko Polish Home, Nevins St. in Dunkirk.

The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a moment of silence for all deceased club Members.

Zeke Curtin welcomed the group to his club.

All member clubs were represented.

Secretary Jim Pryll read the minutes of the previous meeting, and a financial report was given by treasurer, Tom Halicki. Motions were made and seconded to approve both reports.

It was noted that post cards will no longer be sent to clubs to notify them of upcoming meetings. The latest copies of club phone numbers were given to each club for use in emergencies. Discussions were held concerning club party procedures.

The J. Carter Knapp Post in Forestville announced it will hold a meat party on Saturday, March 23, beginning at 7 p.m.

The next meeting of the Associates will be held March 24, at 10:30 a.m., at the World War I Veterans Club, 216 Lake Shore Dr. E., in Dunkirk. All club members are invited to attend.
