Sinclairville man charged with drug possession
SINCLAIRVILLE — A Sinclairville man has been accused of possessing drugs while at a downtown park.
On Tuesday at about 8 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies were performing an area check of the village of Sinclairville Park. While in the area deputies observed a suspicious subject in a vehicle. Through an investigation deputies allege that they discovered that Austin T. Schwab, 23, of Jamestown Street was in possession of two forms of a controlled substance.
It was also alleged that Schwab had provided a child less than 17 years old with a controlled substance.
Schwab was taken into custody without incident and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument.
Schwab was arraigned at the Chautauqua County Jail through the use of centralized arraignment.
