Traffic stop yields cocaine charges in Jamestown
JAMESTOWN — Nearly seven ounces of cocaine were seized Thursday during a routine traffic stop in the city.
According to Jamestown police, Cindy S. Frank, 45, of Jamestown, was pulled over around 8:30 p.m. for allegedly failing to keep right on Lakeview Avenue near Euclid Avenue.
Police said a large package of drugs, in plain view in the vehicle, was reportedly found to contain 6.6 ounces of cocaine.
Frank was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, an A-2 felony; and failure to keep right. She was taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
