One charged in Charlotte home raid

CHARLOTTE — A Sinclairville man has been arrested for allegedly selling different drugs.

This morning around 10:20 a.m., the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team executed a search warrant at 6221 Rt. 60 in the Town of Charlotte. The search warrant had been issued earlier by the town of Charlotte Justice, along with an arrest warrant charging Timothy J. Harrison, 55, with one count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

The entry was made without incident and Harrison was taken into custody on the outstanding arrest warrant. He was the arraigned in the Town of Charlotte Court and then sent to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail pending further action of the court.

As a result of the search authorities seized 49.8 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, 172.1 grams of marijuana, scales and a large amount of U.S. currency. As a result of the seizure police said there will be numerous additional felony charges will be placed against this Harrison.

The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force is comprised of investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Dunkirk Police Department.
