More than 2,000 Dunkirk residents without power

A power line is down on Doughty Street as more than 2,000 city residents are without power.

A downed power line on Doughty Street has caused more than 2,100 Dunkirk residents to be without power. The power went out shortly before 8 p.m.

Businesses and residences south of Fourth Street are without power, while businesses and residences north of Fourth Street are not impacted.

According to National Grid, power will be restored around 10 p.m.

Doughty Street is currently blocked off by Dunkirk Police due to live wires in the street.
