Gowanda school residents invited to attend public hearing on capital project

GOWANDA — Superintendent Robert B. Anderson will lead a Public Hearing on the Gowanda Central School District’s Proposed two-part Capital Improvements Project on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium and the public is encouraged to attend.

Dr. Anderson will discuss the plans — which focus on safety, health and welfare; enhancing student programming and experiences; improving energy efficiency; and making site improvements — and answer questions.

The public vote on the $29,174,459 to $30,508,517 project is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 13, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the middle school library.
