Elaine J. Palmer-Titus

Elaine J. Palmer-Titus, 84, of Stockton, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 25, 2016 in her home, surrounded by family.

Born March 27, 1932 in Stockton, a daughter of the late Howard and Arlene Johnson Sutton.

Elaine was self-employed, operating Palmer’s Sales and Antiques, and conducted numerous household and estate sales throughout the area for many years.

She was a long-time member of the South Stockton Wayside Chapel, a volunteer at Sinclairville Free Library and member and past president of both the Valley Historical Society and the Sinclairville Senior Citizens.

Wife of the late Orland “Art” Palmer and late Arthur “Jack” Titus;  mother of Don (Katie) Palmer and Jane (Dave) Johnson, both of Stockton; step-mother of Steve (Betty) Titus of Stockton, Roxanne (Bill) Astry of Cassadaga and the late Craig Titus; grandmother of Becca, Hannah, Dan, Kate, James, John, Alex, Andy, Sandy and Samantha;  great-grandmother of 20; and sister of the late Evelyn Bassford, Marvin, William and Robert Sutton. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the South Stockton Wayside Chapel, 5537 Route 380, Sinclairville, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Stockton. In lieu of flowers, memorials to:  South Stockton Wayside Chapel. Arrangements by Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
