Dorothy T. Wystup
Dorothy T. Wystup, 92, of Dunkirk, died, Monday, April 17, 2017She was born in Dunkirk, June 19, 1924, daughter of the late William and Laura (Nowinski) Trudnowski.
A retired employee of Ralston Purina as the executive Secretary to the plant manager and in the past she was a nurse’s aide during WWII and had worked at Brooks Memorial Hospital also the former ALCOA Steel Products.
For many years Dorothy went to the Chautauqua County Home to visit the many residents without family members. Her memberships include Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig, the Parish Rosary Society, a devote Catholic she spent much time at the church, RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program), and volunteer at Brooks Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are her adopted children that were her life Kevin (Cindy) Wystup of Fredonia, Kathleen (Dale) Dillenburg of Forestville, Richard Wystup of Wellsville, grandchildren Jennifer Wystup Gettings, Stacy Wystup, Christopher (Lauren Moss) Wystup, Desiree Chambliss, Tierra Dillenburg, Richard Wystup, Brittany Wystup, great grandchildren Stephon Carmona, Damari Chambliss, Tracyana Griggs, Tyleah Bell along with nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death in addition to her parents are her husband Gerald V. Wystup who died March 1988, brother William Trudnowski, sister Virginia (Carl) Lis.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated this morning at 10 o’clock in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
