Sally A. Drewniak

Sally Ann Drewniak, 69, of Dunkirk passed away Sunday morning at Brooks Hospital after a short illness. She was born in the city of Dunkirk to the late Arthur and Lavern Maloney, and resided in this area her entire life. She was a Matron for the Chautauqua County Jail in Mayville. She loved her two cats, Fluffy and Jerry; they were her pride and joy. She loved sewing. She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and Greeter. She loved being a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Stockton. She loved her grandchildren and greatgrandchild. Her favorite thing to do was sit on the porch with her loving husband at night and watch the neighborhood kids play.

Surviving are her husband, Richard W. Drewniak Sr. of Dunkirk; twin sons, Arthur J. Drewniak and Richard W. Drewniak Jr., both of Dunkirk; her daughter and caregiver, Tina L. Quiles of Dunkirk;and stepdaughters, Trisha Drewniak of Dunkirk and Tracie Drewniak of Forestville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michelle A. Quiles, Sara E. Quiles, and Tadyn A. Drewniak; and greatgrandchild, Eloise S. Romans. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Arthur and Lavern Maloney; a sister, Carolyn Maloney; and her brother, Arthur Maloney Jr.

There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Newman Funeral Home, Inc.
