David L. Lindquist

FORESTVILLE — David L. Lindquist, 80, passed away September 3, 2017 at Gowanda Nursing Home.

He was born, January 15, 1937, son of the late Arnold and Hazel (Wheling) Lindquist.

On April 26, 1958, he married the former Julia Klein, who survives.

Mr. Lindquist was a U.S. Air Force retired veteran, for over 20 years of which he was a Master Sergeant. He was also previously employed by Moench Tanning in Gowanda.

Mr. Lindquist was a member of the American Legion Post 409 as well as Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gowanda. He was also an avid bowler.

Besides his loving wife of 59 years, Mr. Lindquist is survived by two sons, Allen (Cynthia) Lindquist of Forestville, NY, and Mark (Kimberly) Lindquist of Randolph, NY. He is also survived by two daughters, Cheryl (Robert) Colvenbach of Silver Creek, NY and Valorie (Gerald) Phagan, MacClenny, Florida. Also surviving are two sisters, Judy (Arnold) Smith of Collins Center, NY and Virginia LaRusso of Lockport, NY. Mr. Lindquist is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
