Bill Dillenburg

Bill Dillenburg was born in Dunkirk, New York to Thomas and Elizabeth Dillenburg on June 23, 1946. He passed away after a battle with cancer on January 29, 2018 in Carson City, Nevada.

He leaves his loving wife of 31 years, Rhonda Lee Dillenburg. He is also survived by 2 children, Heather Dillenburg from Glendale, California and Kevin Dillenburg, from Modesto, California. His stepson Greg Wood, resides in Boise, Idaho. His brother Tom Dillenburg Jr and family are in Pittsburgh, PA and his sister Margie Neder lives in Modesto, CA. Bill also has two grandchildren of whom he was very proud. Erik and Marcus Dillenburg live in Sacramento, California.

Bill graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1964 where he played football and baseball and made many life long friends. He proudly served in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970. He earned a degree in education from SUNY, Fredonia and spent a career teaching children of all ages in many different areas, including spanish, math, history, music.

Bill enjoyed life to the fullest and could always be counted on to make people laugh an enjoy his musical guitar and singing. He played in many vocal and instrumental bands throughout his life.

Bill and Rhonda had a rough three years battling various life-threatening ailments, and now Bill is at rest with the Lord with no more pain and suffering. Bill always took time for friends and remained a Buffalo Bills fan. He will be missed.
