Jacqueline R. (nee Potter) Kennedy
Jacqueline Ruth Kennedy (nee Potter) was born July 11, 1924; deceased February 25, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital. She was 93 years old. Jacqueline was the first daughter of Henry T. Potter and Helen Potter (nee LeStrange).
She attended Edward J. Meyers Memorial Hospital training school. She graduated on April 3, 1946 as a licensed registered professional nurse. She was a registered nurse at Boothe Memorial Hospital and she was a nurse for seven years from the early 60’s to 1973. Her family lived in Dunkirk from August 1957 until August 1973. Then they moved to Clarence, NY.
Jacqueline was the beloved wife of Francis A. Kennedy; devoted mother of Michael (Lynn) Kennedy, Daniel (Anne) Kennedy, Patrick (Linda) Kennedy, Thomas Kennedy, Kathleen (Gerald) Kennedy, Sean (Mary Lou) Kennedy, Mary Lou (Ron) Schultz, Mark (Amy) Kennedy, Timothy (Susan) Kennedy, Jacqueline (Ron) Rindfleisch and John Kennedy; loving grandmother of 37 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; dear sister of Frances (late Ernest) Busse, Nadine (late John) Verra and the late Henry (late Norma) and David (late Mary Louise) Potter; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-8 p.m. at the (Harris Hill Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC, 8440 Main St. where prayers will be offered on Friday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated from Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church at 10 a.m. Friends invited.
